Following the Igarashi Takeo Firm which began its business in 1924, Igarashi Ika Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in 1948 and, since 1957, has been manufacturing and marketing anesthesia apparatus for the domestic market. Our business has also grown to encompass manufacture and sales of medical devices/instruments, and other general equipment for medical facilities. We commercialized Micro Feather ophthalmic scalpels in 1984, as a result of collaborative work with FEATHER Safety Razor Co., Ltd., for whom Igarashi Ika has been the main marketer for over 40 years.
We will continue providing useful new products to satisfy customer needs and contribute to society by way of the healthcare industry.
